Here are the broad strokes of what the physical aspects of the prayer room will be like. Much of this will probably be changed by the time we finish and I will update as we change and complete things.

PR location: 2201 E. 5th St. , Superior, WI, 54880 (on the corner of 22nd ave E. and E. 5th St. in East End of Superior)

PHYSICAL ASPECTS

The prayer room will have as much seating capacity as the original plans for upstairs (between 80 to 100 people on the main floor). The front entry way will be only for the prayer room and coffee shop. The hardware store will be completely in the back, using the re-opened side entrance. The bookstore and coffeeshop will be on the left and front of the building. The prayer room will be right in the heart of the building. When you enter the prayer room entrance, you will not know the this building is a hardware store unless you had foreknowledge of it. It will not be visible from the PR entrance, and only a little bit visible through the coffeeshop. On the other hand, if you enter the hardware store, it will be immediately evident that there is a bookstore, coffeeshop, and a prayer room. You will not be able to enter the hardware store without seeing this. The balcony will be available for overflow seating in the prayer room.

HOURS

The prayer room can be left constantly open from 8-5:30, even if there is not a live worship team. When there is no prayer room staff present, the front doors will be locked, but the prayer room will be accessible from the hardware store entrance during regular hardware store hours. Leaving the prayer room open like this will allow for the maximum amount of time to have “open prayer” as we grow towards 24/7 prayer.

If you are interested in helping in any way, you can contacty me on the “contact me” page by phone or email. Also, you can stop in and see me at work for 8-1 Monday through Friday. I will be posting a list of our needs as plans are finalized. We plan to be open by Jan. 1st.

I will keep updating.

God Bless,

Josh
